Error Correction Levels:

QR codes support four error correction levels that determine how much of the code can be damaged while still remaining scannable:

• L (Low): ~7% damage tolerance - Best for clean environments
• M (Medium): ~15% damage tolerance - Good balance (recommended)
• Q (Quartile): ~25% damage tolerance - For printed materials
• H (High): ~30% damage tolerance - Maximum durability

Best Practices:

• Use higher error correction levels for codes that may be damaged or partially obscured
• Larger sizes (minimum 2x2 cm) are easier to scan from a distance
• Ensure good contrast between the code and background
• Leave sufficient quiet zone (white space) around the code
• Test your QR code with multiple devices before printing
• Keep URLs short when possible to create simpler, more scannable codes
